Thami siblings from Alampu: Yammaya (16); Rita (13); Tirtha Kumari (10); Mani Kumari (8); Memmaya (6); Debraj (4); Bhim Bahadur (2). Their mother died on 4 July 2015 and their father have been mentally unbalanced since. Memmaya is now living with her uncle, a wageworker in Darjeeling, India.
These two children (Meri Thami, 7, and Mohan Thami, 5) belong to one of the most vulnerable families in Alampu.

Children from the two families in their new school uniforms (with Bikesh Thami, local volunteer who delivered the items). They also received school shoes, bag, books and stationery. Support for this initiative was provided by Nehi Fund.
The road to the village was flooded and blocked, but Bikesh Thami, the local volunteer, managed to reach the village and distribute the supplies to the children.
